Greenplant Ltd make it three seasons and not out with their continued sponsorship of Tiddington Cricket Club.

The club is set to open the batting for the 2025 season in April with a pre-season friendly against Bledlow Village. The Thame-based club, established in 1886, plays matches across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire in the Cherwell Cricket League, with the men’s first team currently sitting in Division 2.

With shirt, board and newsletter sponsorship, Greenplant is committed to the flourishing club. With four senior teams, women’s team and an increasingly enthusiastic junior programme, the club has come a long way in its storied history. Parents play alongside their children for an increased sense of community and longevity in the club’s future.

Tragedy struck Tiddington Cricket Club last year when the clubhouse flooded. But the unfortunate circumstances turned into an exciting opportunity. Digging deep, the club banded together to completely reinvent the clubhouse and develop the club’s thriving social scene. In the off-season, the clubhouse is open, showing live sports and hosting social events, including a Cribbage league team.

Marketing and Communications executive at Greenplant, Sam Wenham-Wallace, said, “We’re very excited to be entering another season with Tiddington Cricket Club. Inspiring the community and developing local talent are at the core of Greenplant’s ethics. We wish the team a very successful season

Club Welfare Officer, Lesley Pykett, added, “We are very grateful for Greenplant’s backing of the club. Their continued support has helped the club go from strength to strength, and we look forward to welcoming them to the ground this year.
