CABLE AVOIDANCE TOOL

Cable Avoidance Tools help your team to reduce the number of cable strikes and dig more safely on-site through the precise and quick location of buried cables and other utilities.


This piece of kit has multiple modes, the most popular being avoidance mode - best for pre-dig scanning to make sure your work doesn't hit any utilities.


The accompanying piece of kit is the Genny 4 Generator. This uses simultaneous dual-frequency signals to find the location of smaller cables such as telecoms and street lighting, amplifying the signal of the cable avoidance tool.



COBRA WHEEL

This compact and portable fibreglass duct rod is used for locating drains, or ducts, and providing effective installation through threading of draw ropes through the pipe. You can also use this piece of equipment with cameras, to identify the inner workings of a drain or pipe.



TOTAL STATION

A Total Station is a modern surveying instrument that integrates an electronic theodolite with an electronic distance meter. This tool measures angles and distances using electronics, combining functions of multiple pieces of equipment.



THEODOLITE

The theodolite is an instrument that can measure both horizontal and vertical angles, allowing surveyors to “triangulate” the position of objects in a specific area.
